1 small celery root
4 cloves crushed garlic
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
Brocco Shoots for garnish
A large bowl of celery, finely grated, mix with mayonnaise and sour cream. Add the crushed garlic. Season with salt, pepper and sesame seeds.
Spread on fresh bread and garnish with brocco shoots.
200 g flour
50 g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
few drops of almond extract
60 g butter
80 ml milk
1 egg for brushing
brown sugar for topping
Preheat oven to 200 C. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In large bowl mix flour, baking powder, sugar, sliced butter, almond extract, egg,milk. Work the dough well by hand.
Dust with flour if too sticky.
Form 8 buns, brush with egg, sprinkle with sugar and bake cca 15 min.
500 g flour
40 g yeast
200 ml milk
about 100 ml water
50 g melted butter
1 tbs sugar
1 tbs salt
Seeds for toppings (poppy, sunflower, etc.) , beaten egg to spread on top
Let yeast rise in lukewarm milk with dash of sugar and dash of salt.
In large bowl combine flour, salt, sugar, egg, rest of milk, melted butter, yeast. Knead well, add water if needed. Let rice in warm place.
Roll out the dough flat on floured surface. With glass cup or large cookie cutter cut out circles. With small cookie cutter make hole in the middle. Place bagels on baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush on egg and sprinkle with your choice of toppings. Let rise for few more minutes then bake in pre-heated oven till golden.
12 cooked lasagna noodles
8 ounces cream cheese, softened- Philadelphia
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves minced
2 cups chopped fresh spinach
2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken
3 cups grated mozzarella, divided
¼ cup olive oil
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
2 garlic cloves minced
½ cup butter
2 cups heavy cream or half and half
2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon garlic salt
On a flat work surface lay out lasagna noodles. In a large mixing bowl add cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, and mix well. Stir in chopped spinach. Divide mixture evenly over noodles, and spread over noodles. Sprinkle chicken evenly over the noodles. Sprinkle 1½ cups mozzarella over the noodles and roll each noodle up and place in 9×13 baking dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and add mushrooms, and garlic. Sauté until tender, set aside.
In a medium saucepan melt butter, and then add cream, and garlic salt. Stir until hot. Remove from heat and add Parmesan cheese, stir until smooth.
Pour Alfredo sauce over roll ups. Top with mushrooms and remaining mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
