1 small celery root
4 cloves crushed garlic
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
Brocco Shoots for garnish
A large bowl of celery, finely grated, mix with mayonnaise and sour cream. Add the crushed garlic. Season with salt, pepper and sesame seeds.
Spread on fresh bread and garnish with brocco shoots.
5-6 slices of ham
100 g farmers or cream cheese
125 ml heavy whipping cream
fresh ground horseradish (as desired)
parsley for decorating
Whip the cheese, add salt, pepper, horseradish. Then fold in thickly whipped cream. Layer on slices of ham, roll up. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with bread.
600 g filo dough
300 g ground meat
1 1/2 cup of rice
1 cup frozen peas
2 tbs pine nuts (or almonds)
seasoning : vegeta, old fashioned Czech spices, caraway seed, curry
1 egg for brushing
Boil rice with curry, vegeta and peas. Sautee onion, add ground meat, season and cook until done. Mix in the rice
and roasted pine nuts. Let cool. Divide into 12 equal portions.
Roll out the filo dough and cut into 12 pcs (cca 15 x 15 cm). Wrap portion of meat/rice mixture in each using a small floured bowl
as a holder. Transfer onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg. Bake 15-20 min at 180 C.
It is possible to add cheese into the mixture if you desire.
4 red bell peppers
2 medium sized onions
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup walnuts
olive oil ( 1/2 cup)
Finely chop everything except the oil in a food processor. Mix the oil in.
Put on a plate, drizzle with oil, decorate with nuts.
Serve with bread or as a side with baked meat.
1 Tablespoon of butter
Bowl of fresh sliced mushrooms

Grated Parmesan cheese
Fry the onions in butter. Add garlic and the sliced mushrooms. Add salt and simmer until tender. Then add the herbs. Serve on toast and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
12 slices edam cheese
200 g sliced ham
3 cloves of garlic
2 cubes of soft spreadable cheese
1 red bell pepper
Beat together soft cheese, cream cheese and pressed garlic.
Line baking sheet with aluminum foil, layer with sliced cheese (slices overlapping a bit). Put in oven and let soften. Press seams with fingers to connect. Layer with ham, cheese mixture and sliced red pepper. Roll it up and let chill in refrigerator overnight.
500 g spinach leaves
4 tbs flour
dash baking soda
100 g cream cheese
150 g smoked salmon
150 g cream cheese
Steam spinach, squeeze and drain water, chop. Mix with yolks, flour, baking soda, whipped whites, salt and pepper to taste. Spread the mixture on baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake to solidify, about 10 min. Let cool.
Fill with cream cheese and salmon, add fresh herbs to your liking. Roll up, wrap in aluminum foil and let chill in the refrigerator.
